I'm grateful for another sober day with my kids. I'm blessed to have such wonderful kiddos, and I took it for granted for too long. I'm so grateful for each new day with them.

Being a "sober" parent has been extremely difficult lately, for me, for some reason. Not the parenting, just maintaining sobriety.
That said, being a "sober parent" is my every reason for maintaining sobriety each and every day. Being able to set the right example despite past, faults, current struggles etc, now that's the endless gold THROUGHOUT the hills and valleys alike.
