I'm almost 22 years sober and I'm grateful that I'm finally really hitting bottom. That's a little strange but I'm a little strange and I'm also grateful that I'm not alone in this.

I've learned when I hit rock bottom, I get to experience the hand of God in ways that I wouldn't have recognize when I was at the top. Hitting rock bottom has removed things out my life and also given me my greatest blessings. So, I understand why you're grateful--you're about to be new and improved!
