the drunken manager of the venue i was playing at tonight, handed me this note during the middle of my show. then he proceeded to dance (well) on a nearby table lol. tonight was an adventure, but i felt completely secure. in fact more secure than i have felt in a very long time on stage. funny how anxiety goes away when you’re in the right path isn’t it…
Lol would love to see pics of the rest of the story
Temptation stays away from me, as being not a worthy opponent. Insofar as I hate pro sports, don’t care to be around beer& hotdogs anymore, I quit a PT stadium job …
i don’t blame you Kevin. if i had any other choice in the matter, i would leave music. some things cannot be altered without consequence, so as opposed to fighting myself i’ve decided to fight my addiction. every time i play i am triggered. i like to think of it as exposure therapy. i get stronger and stronger. one day temptation will also not be a worthy adversary to face me. that is my golden day. for now, it is no match for my presence, so that is the armor i will use to fend off that energy from my psyche. sorry went down a rabbit hole for a second there

Oh oops I meant myself not a worthy opponent, for example against cigarettes, yet there I triumphed at last heh heh.
