It’s taken a while to settle but truth be told, rebuilding my new life is just as hard if not harder then when I was chasing my high. Seeing how far I am behind other people my age sucks. I get depressed about this from time to time but I continue to try and continue to fight and move forward every day. Life used to have many friends and now it’s turned into not having any friends. Just venting…

At least you are alive and able to make new friends. A lot of addicts don’t have that chance being 6 feet under. Hope you reaching out to find a program so you can meet others and learn this new life.
Thanks that means a lot. God has blessed me with another day to keep trying. I feel like the people I was surrounded around at the time were my friends and once I got sober everyone just disappeared. Probably for the best
You got the plague now. Lol. A fixable one. Getting sober is a full time job. Only thing you need to change for this new life to take hold is just one thing….everything. Good luck. Hope you make it buddy.
