The "I hate gratitude lists" gratitude list

Today, I am grateful for the Freethinkers AA meetings, every day at noon here in Cleveland.

The meetings are always welcoming of everyone and really diverse, from downtown attorneys to bus stop crazies and everyone in between, a thousand points of light are not enough...

To show my gratitude, I'll make coffee, set up literature and whatever else I can do to support this meeting.

I like to keep my "list" short, so I can be thorough in my gratitude, since mybsposnor Chuck taught me that gratitude is an action word.

Think of "gratuity " like when you tip your server at a restaurant. What if you showed gratitude by only saying thank you for a job well done, instead of taking tipping?

I've never really understood the bloated gratuity lists that people make, grateful for the sunshine and stuff like that. I could probably write a book on that kind of stuff every day. I'd rather just keep it short and sweet and focus on those things that I can give back to in some kinda way that's positive to somebody besides myself.

If you're ever in the Cleveland area around noon, Monday through Friday, check us out. There's no prayer, or anything like that, just straight up sobriety.

Gratitude is not a feeling. Gratitude is a mindset, a way of seeing and thinking that is rooted in a remembrance.

Tell your waitress that, next time you go out to eat, that can be her tip (gratuity).

when i create my gratitude list, i just try and think of rlly random things cos it’s lowkey funny to me like i’m grateful for push pins, closet doorknob, the flusher on toilet, and/or the button on my jeans !
cause like anything and everything im grateful for
Balance, pendulum, what goes up must come down
