I have been sober for almost quite sometime now and am having trouble finding things to do. I want to go out but don't have sober friends to do that with. I've tried to go to the old places I used to hangout with zero results. I'm in my late 30s and craze companionship and someone to just be able to relate to. I worry I'll never find anyone because of my addictions and how much they have controlled my life for so long. What does a sober person do and where do they go to meet people? Bars, clubs and places where alcohol is, has only been the places I have known to meet new friends. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
