The non alcoholic mentality is really eye opening. I spent a few days vacation in a resort and low and behold everyone isn’t always drinking the whole time. I thought this was always the case but seriously there are people enjoying life having a great time and no alcohol around them. Go figure.

I notice that too! Like when you are actually looking and seeking out people without a drink in their hand they do exist!

Yeah, when I got clean, about 4 and half years ago, I was surprised different the world looked. I then began to realize that my thinking has become different (better!!) in recovery, but the world had been just the same all along. Congrats on being in recovery!
