The past 2 days I've been doing what they teach you not to do and meeting and that's staying in your head because I'm fighting with ghosts in my head and fighting with wanting that demon again and I hate it I don't want that and then a program that's helping me but I have to meet certain criteria to be here I need to sponsor and I need to go to meetings and I'm 300 miles from anybody I know so it's hard for me to get a ride to places and it's hard to get a sponsor when you don't know nobody not want this to work at least I don't that demon back on my back or in my life I want to feel like I'm in control of my life You better got any good words to help me or a good prayer that I could pray thank you

Pray the 3rd step prayer take my will and my life guide me in my recovery and teach me how to live CLEAN IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!!!!

I'm in a house that has the same type of stipulations...ask them if virtual meetings count that could be 1 option you can find virtual meetings pretty much all day everyday...I totally understand where your coming I'm 6 1/2 months clean myself in a area I am not familiar with and I don't drive and on top of that I also have a 4 month old baby.....stay strong I know that's a lot easier said than done but if so can do it anyone can lol....if you ever need someone to talk to feel free to reach out anytime

Yes they count as well but I still have to go to two in person and get a sponsor

it's a fight forsure but listening to AA meetings on youtube is good also listen to brandon novaks story on youtube

I am a long way from home myself. I got to know someone through a church . She has been helping me, cause I am finding myself with the Lord

You might need to work harder to meet people in your area, but it will pay off for you if you put the work in. It should get easier once you meet a few people. Don't forget to pray :v:
