The Power of Attitude

Finally, I’m financially secure after decades of struggling to maintain my alcoholism. When I quit drinking, I still had everything mainly intact. Thought I had escaped the consequences, but like a train stopping, it took way beyond just pressing the brakes. In early sobriety, I lost my wife (divorce), my house (stalker situation) my job (covid), had a death in the family and my identify was stolen to top it off. All between months 6-12. I stayed sober through it all. Mainly, because I remained accountable through a strong program of recovery and to a sober community. My best to everyone doing the work. Took my 6 years of of in and out until I finally surrendered. Still here, surrendering daily, 3.5 years in. I hope I never forget that everyday I am a work-in-progress. :muscle:t3::raised_hands:t3::pray:
