This is great everyone to review and read daily. The promises as you get sober please recognize the bottom last sentence “they WILL ALWAYS materialize, IF we WORK FOR THEM.”
It doesn’t say maybe they will materialize, but states ALWAYS will materialize. Also they won’t just happen if you don’t work for it, this sober deal / contract we have is a lifetime gig, not 1 week, 1 month, 6 months 1 year or multiple years and we’re okay to drink after we get some time under our belt, it’s a lifetime commitment and it means we have to work for it throughout our lifetime. Our disease will be with us forever until we’re buried 6 ft under. Our disease is waiting outside the door for us doing push-ups waiting for us to go back it will always be waiting for us to go back. Remember these promises because they’re a heck of a lot better than a drunk addicted living life.
