It's been a long beautiful journey for the last 11 months and 23 days. It's had its ups and downs as life happens. Recently though I have gotten my license back, fines are paid off, I changed jobs, I work with my A.A. family, make good money, and I enjoy my life today. I feel happy, joyous, and free today and every day that I wake up sober. Next Friday is 1 Year sober for me and I have custody court for my daughter. Now I won't get her back that day cause I'm still in a place I can't have her but that's okay at least I can show my progress for the last year and have her at my Mom's for the weekend. I truly love and appreciate the recovery community where I'm at. Having the Serenity and Peace I have now is truly a blessing.
