The struggle is real to get this under control and you can’t really talk to anyone. They don’t understand and look at you like a failure or a weak person.

Your strength isn't determined or defined by their judgement. There's no binding law that you need to justify to anyone why you choose to be sober. The ability to pause and control your own emotions to not be swayed by others is your ability to really get to know who you really are which is great :+1:. You're actually stronger than you think...and doesn't it feel more liberating when you can just be you and trust yourself?

I like this explanation very much!

Only an addict can relate or understand an addict. Is not weakness or failure they see, it is like you are speaking in a different language. And that’s okay. It doesn’t diminish you or the struggles you have been through. Head up man! We all understand here.
