I looked up trudging and it accurately describes our path in sobriety. I always want to feel good, and that isn’t a reality in sobriety and out. This is a better life, not always easier, and I think a lot of people get held up on that. Putting the bottle down is a big part of the problem, but in my case I have to do the work if I have any chance of achieving my happy destiny….thanks for the reminder
