they say they want help but does nothing to change . Constant battle of feeling like im with two different people. There’s many times , i feel like i dont know what to believe & then second guess myself because theyre saying “ i didnt drink “

So I’m assuming you are not in recovery yourself. Is that correct? If so, there is going to be a lot that you will never understand. If that is the case, you should find Al-Anon meetings in your area. Those meetings are for the folks that have to deal with our dumb $hit. But one thing I can tell you. You can’t convince an alcoholic to want sobriety. They need to want it for themselves. Until then, no one can help them.
