- I'm grateful for God.
- I'm grateful to be clean.
- I'm grateful my roommates are snoring because it means I can have the morning darkness to pray, meditate, and get right with the Universe.
- I'm grateful for the smell of fall creeping into the air.
- I'm grateful to be loved and surrounded by friendship.
Well that title caught my eye!
Awesome gratitude list, thanks for sharing! Meditation was a game changer for my sobriety! Step 11!

Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood him.
Lol...I surprised myself

I now meditate daily. It is how I center myself, and bring myself to the present. It's how I am able to be present for all of the blessings that God has given me! My days are now whatever I make them, so I make them great days and not days filled with misery, self-loathing, self-pity, or self-centered fear! Great gratitude list! Thanks again for sharing!!
Same. Daily meditation is so awesome. It's changed my life.
As soon as I sent my last response, I walked into a church dedicated to recovery and I walked into a new men's meeting that I was invited to by a friend. I thought that it was a big book study group. I was wrong. It was a step meeting, and guess what step we read out of the 12&12? Yep, you guessed it - step 11!!
God is everything!
