Hi everyone I been going through a lot with making positive decisions on attending college at my age I'm way older and I'm wondering is it to late to get a career at my age I just turned 60
If it's what you want to do, then do it! Do what makes you happy
No it isn't I am 64, and have not gotten the courage to go back You Go! Yayyyy
Thank you friends
Thank you
You Go and do it! Never too late!
I think that growth has no age limit and what is education but growth in your knowledge and career? You should absolutely continue making those positive decisions to go to college for something that leads you towards a career path you can be passionate and happy over. You got this, mama!
We never stop learning
Age is just a number. Keep moving forward and go for it!
Hi Crystal- I went on a physically and mentally challenging 41 day camping trip, and I returned a stronger person. Was it hard at 60 year old non-camper to put up and take down a big tent almost every day? Yes! Was it hard for a single person to be part of a group of strangers and remain positive and upbeat for 41 days? Yes! But the sights and experiences were worth it, and I'm a more confident person for it. You can do it one day at a time. If you have to continue working, invest in yourself!! Good luck!
DO IT!!! I'm 60 too and am starting a family store/plant nursery by myself
Seriously, you can do this. You’ve got a sober mind which means you can think more clearly and analytically. Don’t let age worry you. I hope you know the brain age of us alcoholics?
It is the year you started drinking plus the years of sobriety you have under your belt. So say you started drinking at 17 years old. And you have 20 years sobriety. That means your brain is 37 years old.
Thank you
Awww thank you all greatly appreciate your feedback means a lot to me God bless
just do it, age carries wisdom
It's not too late, go for it!!!!!!
Go for it! I went back to school at 50 and got a degree in aviation and learned to fly a plane. It is never too late!
Thank you
