Haven’t drank in almost 2 years but recently been thinking of drinking some blueberry Smirnoff and some fire ball with Dr Pepper… it’s coming up on. A year since my neighbor that was like my father 8 years passed away. I miss him a lot. He was 60 and full of life. Would drink together and have fun. I miss my buddy so much! It’s hard not to take a shot for my buddy!

Alcohol is such a freaking trickster! It's crazy the lengths I will go sometimes to try and convince myself how and when I'll let myself drink again. Thats the mental obsession at work 100% - when that happens I find a peaceful place to meditate and think it through. Or call a sober friend to let it out. Mainly I always go back to One Day At a Time. And if it gets too weird I usually just go to sleep
