I’m grateful today for this beautiful boy. Pumpkin was scared and crying when he was dropped off at the shelter 6 months ago. It was love at first purr.

Over the many days he has slowly come to trust and accept his new family and it does my heart good to know that we give each other so much…. So much to share….hope and love.
“And in the End, the Love You Take is Equal to the Love You Make.” The End , The Beatles. Abbey Road. 1969.
All you need is love.
Nothing you can make that can't be made
No one you can save that can't be saved
Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy
The bond is strong. The connection with our pets transcends all boundaries in the universe.

Aww hi pumpkin!
Pumpkin- “ please play nice, Asher!! “

He usually doesn't pay any mind to cats...
keyword- usually
Alright, maybe they may be ok on a strictly supervised playdate !
I miss my cats...
So.
Words will not be able to express how much I love this post and thread!
Pumpkin, you are so S O handsome!
Mike Mc…I know / have felt the emotions, feelings which you brought up via your share.
My second foster cat went to her forever home two Thursdays ago.
When I was drinking as much as I was…there is no way I would have been present enough to care for the lovely fosters I have been able to help.
I plan to keep working with my local rescue and keep fostering.
Sending along cat kisses to Pumpkin.
Keep counting the Blessings, Mike Mc.
We are so, S O lucky…to be on this path of sobriety which includes getting to help and love our fantastic animal friends.
I get it.
They help us immensely.

Chuckling.

…( over the “ strictly supervised play date “ comment.
Keep appreciating Pumpkin, Mike Mc.-know that you must be!
I plan to foster kittens soon! Should be rewarding and lots of fun!!
Hi again, Mike-oh wow-glad to read that you have plans to foster!
It is, can be intense.
You really experience the concept(s) of loving and letting go.
You will be saving lives so absolutely worth your time and energy!

I certainly may be hitting you up in the future regarding this … if that’s ok
Sure, Mike…
Sober fostering…wait.
Is that like a “ thing “?
Because it needs to be?!…you cannot go wrong with these aspects of life.
Sobriety and helping animals!
Awesome.
Hope that the weekend was a “ paw “ sitive one for you and Pumpkin.
OK. The “ paw “ sitive is, was kinda corny-while I felt compelled to type so, ha?!
My kind of humor and sentiment. Thanks Sarim!
