Ughh, a good friend of mine is going thru it right now. Its not her, but it’s effecting her and their kids. Sometimes I fricking hate this disease! We are so powerless over others. Watching loved ones screw up, and having to suffer alongside of them while trying to stay sober and hold everything together is rough. Praying for her and the kids. Praying for him to get help and get serious about his recovery. Lets all pray for those sick and suffering from this disease, and for all the families that suffer due to it as well.

With any disease or difficult behavior or infliction on the ones we care about or love it is always troublesome to be the on looker. All you can do is be supportive the best you can to the other in need. Please try not forget to support yourself and practice good self care and step away as needed. I say that as a person who walked away from a 30 year friendship after numorous times of mending or being a loyal friend. You do good work on here so do good by yourself too.
