This is my 3rd Thanksgiving sober from alcohol and pills, after having about 17 years worth of high and drunken holidays that I can’t remember much of. Feels good knowing that I can wake up tomorrow and actually remember the day! I have my career back counseling others who struggle, a great friend, and my beautiful, amazing daughter who I can give everything too. The disease’s of addiction and mental health are killers and I’m very thankful I’ve been able to beat them both!
