This is the longest I have been sober and not on any other substance since I was about 15, I am now 37. Trying to figure out who I am and what I like to do with my free time and what not. Life is so different sober.

It really is. I have noticed how much time it has given me in my daily life to care for myself and relax. Weekends have been hardest for me so something I’ve been doing is finding a new subject I think is fascinating and watching various documentaries on it. It’s a little nerdy but as of today I’m an Egyptian mummy expert and know everything about princess Diana. Maybe you could find something you like and enrich yourself by learning more about it. That is very cool. I usually work a lot but lately I have had the weekends off so I find myself looking for things to do. I enjoy documentaries also. There is a lot of interesting stuff going on out there. And thank you!

Life sober has been pretty amazing . There are still ups and downs but even my worst days aren't that bad. Congrats on your sobriety
