So I've been clean off of drugs for about 10 months but I've been drinking and I just wanted to join this community because I know that I shouldn't be drinking and I know I want to be completely sober. So I'm going to start with today as my sober date and go from there!

Congrats on the 10 months drug free & good luck with kicking the alcohol. People here are pretty good with support.

Sounds like you're on the right path. Alcohol is poison for the body, especially in large continuous quantities. I feel much better both physically and mentally since I quit Alcohol (and drugs)
