This my ninth day alcohol free. Last two days have been emotionally excruciating. I guess this is my feelings coming back?

D. Congratulations on 9 days sober. It may not seem like that long, but every day you have sobriety is a great thing. I to have emotional days and in the past I would handle them with drinking. But guess what, I always tell myself that alcohol never fixes problems, it only creates problems. Be strong your worth it.
Yeah facing feelings when you are use to burying them with alcohol is tough. But so worth it. My anxiety is so much better now. Best of luck on your journey
