I can relate to the stress and frustration newfound sobriety brings. Your mind actually starts processing and dealing with all of the feelings and emotions that the drug numbed and buried. This is about my millionth time trying to stay clean, so I can tell you from a lot of experience that the longer you go, the easier it will grow to face these things. You’ll begin to have a natural perspective shift and be able to see it all in a different light. It gets easier to be positive and use everything thing as a growing and learning experience, despite how hard it is in the present moment. You will also get a confidence and mood boost the longer you go overcoming your addiction. You will feel a sense of triumph. Focus on the person you want to become and keep going!
