This week I’m learning that “no” doesn’t have to be cruel — it can be clean.

I’m practicing three sentences to protect my sobriety without burning bridges:

  1. “Let me think about that.”
  2. “I can’t do that, but I can do this.”
  3. “That doesn’t work for me, but thank you for asking.”
