This week was a low point, but I’m making out the other side!

This week was been a real low point in my 8 months of sobriety. I had strong feelings of being left out, angry, and jealous... It felt really lonely. But it’s only made me stronger and made me realize I’m making the best choice for myself being sober and I should feel proud. I feel empowered and in control more than ever now that I’m sober.

Outstanding to hear! I remember the left out feelings and they can be brutal. You are right you should be proud! Great job.

Thanks for sharing Molly. I’ve struggled with these feelings at times too. You are not alone. Every time we push thru these feelings and don’t drink, is a big win for us. These are great opportunities to learn about ourselves, and rewire our destructive thinking. As you said, making good choices is empowering. You should be proud
