This weekend is hard. The temptation feels heavier than I expected, and right now I’m scared I’ll convince myself it’s okay to give in.
Drink to cope with stress> stressed with life and trying not drink> wanting a drink to cope with not drinking

Hi Kenna,
Blake here. Do you attend any meetings or have positive people to spend time with?
Sounds like you’re already using the tools that you’ve learned to avoid relapse. Just keep using them. Deny, delay, reach out. Do it again! Do it as many times as you need to:grin:
Go get a massage
Then get something fancy to eat
Giving up isn’t a option stay focused get back on track
A drink will only complicate those feelings..hit up a meeting or your support group if you have one..play that tape through you will thank yourself later
Kenna, I felt like you too many times to count! Finally I got sick & tired of that crazy crappp and went all in on AA. Early morning meetings daily and every night! I got sponsored, did the 12 steps and connected to sober people that had wisdom to share.
The above was and still remains my best medicine.
17 years clean and sober. I’m here if you want to talk or have any questions.
Go to a Meeting
Kena, this was 6 days ago, so checking back in. How are you doing now? Did you make it through that weekend okay?
