Those who have sponsors, how often do you see him/her outside of meetings? Do y'all work on the steps every time ? Just curious what the relationship is like. I've had a sponsor for close to 10 years (different ones) and each is so different in amazing ways on their approach as a sponsor.

I meet with my sponsor once a week, we work on a step or just talk about what’s keeping us sober. We have a great relationship.
I understand the sponsor concept and I have one. I find the fellowship of AA to be more important to me. I was sober before coming to AA. If I lost everything, I'd still look to god to work with me , his peace and the elimination of fear when living with conscious contact is better than xanax
When i was working through the steps my first year. We met once a week for an hour after one of our regular meetings.
