Time to really start reevaluating my life choices especially in regards to alcohol. It's been ruining relationships for me for as long as I can remember.

I feel for you girl I feel for you when I was early and sobriety it hurt I was really lost in these relationships I didn't realize how badly drinking had confused me on the reality of who I was
Yep. That's where it starts. The realization that "this is why we can't have nice things"...

Yea that's where my head it at right now. My bf said to me that I'm not myself when I'm drunk and that messed me up
It is good that you listen to your critics... most people fight their critics I love it when people tell me I'm doing things right but I like it better when they tell me I'm doing things wrong because I do need to learn and I understand that I remember when I was drunk I didn't think I needed anybody to tell me anything
And I also want to comment on you listening to your boyfriend it's hard to do when we're trying to get better but when I was first getting sober and even today when people tell me the truth and I'm not drunk all the sudden my critics are my most important thing in my life
