I gave birth recently. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. Until a couple days ago, I couldn't talk about it because all I could do was cry.
It was life or death for my baby and me. Her heart rate continued to drop to 80 each time I had a contraction, and the cord was wrapped around her twice.
So after 12 hours of labor I had to have a C-section. I threw up during the process, my baby wasn't breathing when she entered the world (she had a bowel movement during the process, and swallowed it), my oxygen levels were dropping, I had to depend on my husband to keep the oxygen mask on my face.
I was extremely close to getting a blood transfusion because of the amount of blood I lost. Grateful my husband, and nephew prayed for me. Getting stitches and staples the same day isn't fun.
One of the most important days of my life quickly became terrifying. My husband could have ended up planning a funeral for our baby and/or me.
I'm glad Jesus was in the room, and He had other plans. We're here because of Him.

Thank you for sharing. Please make sure to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to process/heal from the traumatic experience. Congratulations!! Please give that baby plenty of hugs and kisses from Benji:dog: & I
