To be on honest I have no idea what day or month and yes I know how many years of sobriety that I have. Yes I have some basic math skills..thank you education and genetics of how my brain is wired. I always want to wake up each day and treat it like it in my first and I have a long earss way to go. Well because I do. I can be miserable drunk, sober, high as the sun and be in the sky with diamonds. I can get time by doing time. I always want to remain where I came from and not lose sight of the first morning after my last drink or use. Note not dwell in it or romanticize it either, but truly remember how far I have come and where I don't want to go back to. I say onto all of thee this day. Here is to day 1 and may it always be day 1, stay grounded..I am just a flute up who is trying to heal and will make more mistakes and learn.. blah blah blah sounding deep and insightful and like I actually know what I am fluting talking about. Cheers.

For many the anxiety of tracking days is an issue. I keep the days, but live like each is the only.
For some people counting days and milestones are important. I really don’t care as long as i stay sober
