How are you feeling, and how did your life change after giving it up?
I am 3 years away from cannabis. As much as I loved it, I have come to realize it was only a crutch. With quitting pot, I was able to get better jobs. My problem was that I just drank more instead. I just hit one year completely sober, and it feels amazing. The changes in my have been noticed not only by myself but also by close friends and family as well. Feel free to reach out if you need or want to talk about it.
I feel great! I'm mailing it at work and in the gym, I'm working remodeling projects at the house, I've decided to take apart my AC unit to clean it which has been a great learning experience for me, and I'm falling in love with a super sweet beautiful woman who is falling I. Love with me! I quit drinking and smoking, but I'm not missing out on anything. There's a book I read that changed my life; it illustrates how all the supposed positive effects of alcohol are really illusions, and there is always the negative effect of my body having to purge poison and correct chemical balances. The book is called Allen Carr's quit drinking without willpower, and I seriously recommend it. I don't get royalties from it btw.
