Today has been rough… I’ve been doing okay staying sober but got some news today that shook my world and feel so alone… just needed to vent

Hey Cathy, for me alcohol isn't a solution to a problem because... There's no problem that alcohol can't make worse.

This is easier said than done but I have learned to turn (surrender) my will or it (the circumstances) over to my higher power. If He brings me to it, He'll bring me through it. That doesn't mean it will be easy though. Through prayer I ask Him what to do and through meditation I listen for His answer.

Don't pick up and go to a meeting. I find praying to a higher power keeps me connected and gives me peace. The answers will come but we just have to be patient
