Today, I am grateful for all of the folks who have helped me to get to where I am currently.
I am grateful for my loving, forgiving, and understanding kids, friends, and family.
I am grateful for the health and mobility that I DO have.
For a (mostly) sane mind.
I am grateful that God has given me the parents that He did and for all that they have taught me and provided me with.
I am grateful for my sobriety and for this life as challenging as it may, at times, be.
I am grateful for the addict that has gone before me who warned me of the perils of addiction and has helped me through my own and for the active addicts I encounter daily, who remind me just how dark life can get and 0rovide me with purpose in life, in working the 12th step.
My intention for today is to make a positive and lasting difference in the life of a fellow addict.
