Today I am so grateful for this sobriety journey

and I am striggling with the connection part of being with other like minded individuals. I have been sober for over 2 years now. I have made myself get a second job in order to be around others (and dogs,Lol). I have never been to an AA meeting and I have yet to attend CR, or anything of the sorts and it is time. It is beyond time. I am grateful to get sober sleep and this morning I am even more grateful for it. Due to rabbits and an anxious puppy I was awoken by Shiloh"s barking......even when inisde, due to the rabbits outside. I am grateful to be able to sleep in and not be rushed to get to work...love starting at 830 or 900 each day.
I am grateful for today and love that it is SU Group day. Today is the last group for a few weeks while we prepare and endure our annual BIP audit. I am grateful for having the time for proofing the P&P Manual for BIP that was written...thank goodness I am. Several areas had to be upgraded to be accurate.
I am grateful this morning for having a director that trusts my judgment and editing skills. She had me proof her bio for a conference she will be presenting at in August on Trauma Informed Care and her personal traumas.
I am grateful this morning to be sober and strong. Our area was hit with the tragic loss of a teen last night. Our office will be on standby. I am grateful to be of service to those who may need to process this sudden end of life.
I am sober, strong, and grateful today!
