Today I have been clean 16 months! Still going strong, thanks to a higher power and my recovery. Going to at least 3 meetings a week, keep commitments, reaching out and getting numbers of people in the program, working the steps with a sponsor, journaling, being of service, and trying my best to live with spiritual principles. I am making living amends to my family by doing the right things for the right reasons. I am working on myself and learning and growing everyday. I can look in the mirror and be happy with who I am today. I humbly accept myself, all my good and bad. I have a great relationship with my higher power. I take it one day at a time. I enjoy the simple things in life I didn't appreciate when I was in my addiction. I have respect for myself and others. Life is good and I know more will be revealed.

Hey that’s really great! I’m happy for you and ur family. I can’t seem to make it last 8 months for some reason. I’ve been in and out of the rooms since I’ve been 31and my first treatment center in Fl. But I don’t give up. Never give up! I’ve learned that life really is to short and I’m not getting younger ya know??
