I got to help a newcomer today. I chaired a meeting and it was his first AA meeting. And I was able to give him the advice I wish I had heard when I first joined and I gave him my old 24 hour coin I had in my bag. You never know who’s going to need it more than you that day. And for that opportunity to help someone like so many others helped me, I’ll be forever grateful.
