Today, I’m grateful that I woke up and I was able to stand on my feet. Grateful that I was able to get in my company vehicle and go to my job that I still have. i’m grateful that I was able to say happy birthday to my daughter who turned 14 I am grateful that my sobriety has given me the clarity to understand that I am no good to anyone if I’m not sober. I’m grateful to have a wonderful girlfriend who understands the path that I am on and, who also supports my sobriety. And most importantly, I am grateful for the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Keep it simple.
