Today I’m grateful to have gotten back all the things I lost and then some. In active addiction I lost every single thing I had.
I’m so grateful that I purchased a full warranty with my car.
I’m grateful that it’s finally in the shop getting fixed.
I’m also grateful to have a motorcycle that I can take to and from work while my car is in the shop.
It’s not just about the material things though.
I’m grateful to have my mom in my life now.
I’m grateful to be a part of my brothers life… for the chance to know my niece and nephew while they are young, and to watch them grow.
I’m grateful for the friendships that stood the test of time. Grateful that they stuck by my side.
Most of all…
I’m grateful to God whom I may have lost at one point, but who has never lost me.
