Today was a rough one. The training I’d planned for my students fell through. It looks like I may not be able to complete their training. Instead of lamenting I took a nap.

UPDATE:
After waking up I got caught up on some emails and other outside training related tasks. After the nap I had an entirely better perspective.
My responsibility to my students is to be “available”. Not to ensure that everything goes as planned or as smooth as I want it to but to be available for them to learn. To offer experience and guidance that they would not otherwise have.
…even during the not so best situations.
I need to take more naps.
