Today I will be attending a funeral for one of our group AA club. Pat conquered a heroine and alcohol addiction. It will be a sad day.

He left this reality in the best way. Sober. Pray we all leave here this way. I’m sure she will have earned a good afterlife. Should rejoice she left happy and content. Hope you find serenity in losing a friend.

It will be a hard day, but AA/NA funerals and memorials where they are presented with the infinity chip for being sober when thy passed, is awesome

My poor Mother died from alcoholism, it affected me tremendously! I don’t want my children to witness the same scenario when I died. She died in 1998, and after all these years, I have very bad dreams of her being drunk! Not a legacy I want to leave for my family. No one deserves that!

You are flipping the script Ann. You have the opportunity to be the most amazing person they know. When we live our program, we are exceptional people.
