Today I'm grateful for the strength to get out of bed. The ability to walk. The chance to catch up with my daughter. A new year of high school, off to a great start, for my son. I am grateful for the ability to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. I am grateful that all my needs are met. I am grateful for a family that is loving and supportive of my sobriety. I am grateful that the VA at least pretends ro care and am extremely grateful to all of the employees at the various VA Healthcare systems that I have been to over the decades that really do actually care. I am grateful that Although our country is a wreck of to very divided sycophant parties, our country still stands. I pray that reform would happen within both parties that some sense of balance could eventually take place and justice system reform would continue to occur. I am grateful for everything that I have and all that I have not
