Today I'm grateful that I get to spend my daughter's 22nd birthday with her I lost my kids years ago because of my addiction the demons that I was fighting but I'm grateful that they gave me the chance to be a part of their lives again and also grateful that I'm a part of my two grandbabies lives but today is bittersweet today is the day that they admitted my mom into her long stay at the hospital before she passed on May 16th 2023 Mom I know that you can hear me and I want you to know you are my biggest supporter I will continue to make you proud but I'm really struggling right now I know that I'm the reason why you left so soon I will not forgive myself for that I will just have to live with it I predicted it years ago I told you when Dad that your help would decline and that I would take time off your life because of all the pain that I caused you and I was right I'm grateful though to have you with my mom you always did more than enough not just for me and my siblings and bad but for my own children your granddaughters you raise them as they were your own they could not have asked for a better Nana or second mom
