Today I'm struggling with the fact that ppl from my past drug use days are contacting me now that I'm sober yet I rarely heard from them when I was using unless I could do something for them and they have the guts to ask me where to get it or if I want to get high!!! Take a hint ppl, IM SOBER!!!!!! And staying that way!!

Melissa it will help if you have a sponsor also go to meetings fill your mind with other positive inspiration minds is reading the Bible it keeps me protected and when that thought comes across my mind I know to pray and reach for God people places and things are going to play on you just remember why you won't don't want to go back I asked God to remind me and it works

I learned I had to block many 'friends' and send many people in my life to a spam folder. Many will ask for favors or for help when they need some thing. Its okay to say no and focus on your own recovery. You are changing and sometimes not helping or not doing anything with them saves you and keeps you on track. There were a number of times I relapsed until I learned this lesson (the hard way).
Block all the bad people on your phone. That’s noise no one wants or needs.
