Awesome - Glad you are doing well - it is some thing. Wondering if you’ve noticed changes - “open heart” - I had open heart for aortic valve and aneurism in Jan of 2019. Wondering what this new version of recovery is like for you also - so happy for you - god bless you.

It’s definitely been a journey! I have a paralyzed diaphragm post op so it’s affecting my lifestyle and recovery in that I only have use of half of my right lung. Going back to work Monday but will still be dealing with this. Normally I’m quite active and my job is pretty physical.

Sorry just saw this! lol don’t get on here much. I don’t sleep as well as before. Sounds like we had basically the same surgery. I had aortic valve replaced and also an aneurysm. Also still issue with my diaphragm but working with 30 percent of right lung. I walk a little slower but still able to work and exercise a little. No cross fit though!

Hi Janice, thank you for your message. I’m always curious what kind of spiritual awakening somebody has after open heart surgery I’m so glad to hear that you made it through it. I know it’s a challenge and I can’t imagine with the lung issue. Sobriety definitely helps me odat.

Keep up the good energy one day at a time!

Wow that is something - so glad you were able to live this life - I have heard sleep can be issue - hope all the side effects continue to get better- I have wondered if I ha e had pump head (google it). Cognitive. I had a bovine valve installed. I still take some BP medicine - though back to physical activity

My diaphragm is still paralyzed. Going for therapy for that but doesn’t seem to be moving at all

Hi Janice, thank you for your reply - ugh - my heart is with you on that for resolve - I wonder if some work by a Reiki master would help as that is part of the solar plexus and heart chakra area.

Interesting. I am a Board Certified Holistic Nurse and hadn’t thought of that!
