Today is 90 days, for the first time back from relapse. This 90 days seemed longer and harder than the first time getting clean, but also more valuable and with deeper commitment. Getting clean is the greatest gift I can give myself and those I love.

Well done Matt! It’s been way tougher the second time around for me as well. I attribute it to I’m much more aware of my feelings, and I’m working much harder on healing this time. So like you, tougher is actually better. Have a great day

Whoot whoot! Congratulations on your new 90! I am on the struggle bus big time this time around also. At one point I had over 3 years and I’ve been having a hard time just putting together 30 days. I refuse to give up on myself. One day at a time is all we have but time also counts. The further we get away from our last drug or drink, as long as we are working a program of recovery; we get stronger. Keep up the good work one day at a time, my friend.
