Take it one day at a time.
Good for you. I found structure really helped me in my early days. Making a list for that day and a structured routine thrown in. The biggest advive is community.
I go to SMART Recovery. It has been a game changer.
You are worth every day!!
Try going to meetings and finding a sober community you can spend time with it really helps to make new friends
Getting Sober takes courage. Try checking in here daily, maybe hit a meeting too. You can do this.
You can do this you did hardest part already
One day at a time
Focus on today. Break it down into one hour at a time.
Keep away from triggers!
I'm so proud of you for taking this step!
U made it 29 days well thts pretty good . Maybe just try to beat tht . I remember when I couldn't put 2 sober days together . But eventually it's gonna click
Hello my name’s Ariana can we have a conversation privately
I’ve heard over and over again true recovery, and healing happens in community! Isolation is the killer of health and sobriety!
I’ll join you on this day 1 struggle. Day 1 for me too, let’s do this together!
You’ve got this at One Day At a Time!! It takes a lot of courage, honesty, and willingness to admit that alcohol isn't serving you and made the decision to get sober. It you have done that or are working on doing that, you should be so proud of yourself.
I was the same way couldn’t get a couple of days together to save my life and one day sometimes one min what ever it take by the grace of GOD I have put together 13 years of sobriety as of May
It gets easier if we stay connected. This is we program and I know I can’t do this thing without a sponsor and plenty of good numbers in my phone. Dont hesitate to reach out.
Keep up the good work!!!
I've been battling for about 12 years. The longest I've made it in the past was just over a year. I'm at 92 days now and feel so great, sobriety truly is beautiful... you can do it! Like everyone is mentioning, a community/support system is so important. Relying on just one thing to stay sober hasn't worked for me. Meetings (not AA for me), support, eating well, walks/gym, family, writing daily gratitudes, listening to podcasts (I really like "The Addicted Mind")...I also get the Vivitrol shot every month which seems to really help! Fall in love with loving and caring for yourself, you deserve it
When taking it one day at a time feels like it’s too daunting of a task, take it one minute at a time… Build a strong network of sober minded people and resources, and use them whenever you can. Love yourself through every craving, counterproductive thought, and doubt- you are enough. Sending you love and light on your journey.
