Today marks 1 year since I woke up from being in a coma due to alcohol poisoning. My doctors were sure I wasn’t going to make it. It also marks 1 year being sober from my addiction with alcohol. I always wanted to quit but I just couldn’t. It was the toughest thing for me to do and I failed every time. I literally forgot how to live life at that time and was like a zombie. Now I’m living life to the fullest and gained a greater appreciation for the little things in life and those around me. I just have to say that I am beyond grateful for my family and this second chance at life that I have received. Have a amazing day everyone.
We’re glad you made it back. Happy Birthday Luis!

Congrats on a year of sobriety!
Thank You Angel. I appreciate it.
How time flys. This year has been a struggle for sure with having to learn how to do everything again. I’m walking by myself now around the house. Still gotta work on my conditioning but I’m getting there. There’s no room to complain and am beyond grateful for everything.
Yes sir, Thank You.
You are a miracle, buddy🙏
Thank You.
So glad you made it through that! Thank God!

Congratulations Luis!
I'm so glad that you made it!
People die all the time from this stupid disease.
Congratulations on your one year. That's a huge milestone. That 1st year takes so, so long because we are learning how to live all over again 1 day at a time without picking up a drink. Always remember that the circus is still in town.
How have you stayed sober? Have you been going to AA meetings or do you have another program that you have incorporated into your life?
Grateful you are not dead .
