Today marks a milestone of consistency in not drinking or any mind altering substances. About this time in 2009 I walked down the same isle at Ralph’s that once was my primary reason to come to the store. Walked down the aisle, bought food, walk out of the store with no thought of or regret of - no alcohol in my bag. What plagued me for decades had been removed. I realized God was doing for me what I could not do myself. Today is challenging me in all areas of life but nothing has changed. God still doing for me what I can’t do for myself. All I need to do is be aware of his presence. Acceot his plan, not mine. And go to any length to put a smile on your face, not mine. Peace is priceless.
