Today marks a year of my sobriety I’m so proud of myself, it’s been hard…sometimes I crave cocktails or a dark beer (used to be my favorite) but then, I remember how many times I put myself in danger while drinking, I remember the two times I was rape being drunk and well, that gives me the courage I need to keep this new life style and don’t want to sip ever again a drink.

You are amazing and I am grateful for you! I remember the mystery bruises I would notice days after a bender… big scary bruises: arms, forehead, knees, shins… ugh!
